What is the difference between Lodax cross mats and Lodax premium mats?

Both types are equally strong and have a 10-year warranty. The Cross mats ground protection mats have standard 5 mm grooves on one side for heavy machinery and 3 mm grooves on the other side for pedestrians and lighter vehicles. However, with the Lodax premium ground protection mats, you can request different finishes when ordering, such as engraving your name.

When you need to protect the surface, we recommend using Lodax premium mats. This is because, as standard, there are no grooves present that could damage the surface. Cross mats do have grooves, which means it is possible for them to damage the ground.

What is the difference between Lodax mats and Lodax premium mats?

Lodax ground protection mats are made of plastic, and there are two different product lines available: regular Lodax ground protection mats and Lodax premium ground protection mats. The regular mats are made of plastic with a lower density or quality. However, the Lodax premium ground protection mats are made of higher quality plastic, which means they are more durable and have a longer lifespan.

Due to the difference in material quality, Lodax offers a 10-year warranty for the Lodax premium ground protection mats, while a lower warranty is provided for the regular mats. Therefore, it is recommended to choose the Lodax premium ground protection mats if you are looking for a durable and reliable solution for your ground protection mat needs.

Do I need connectors for the ground protection mats?

Connecting plastic ground protection mats keeps them firmly in place in difficult weather conditions, preventing dangerous situations. It also extends the life of the plates. Therefore, connect ground protection mats wherever possible to ensure safety and effectiveness.
